Updated East 100
Terrelle Pryor still leads the way in the latest version of the Scout.com East regional rankings, but there is plenty of movement just behind himd.
Scout.com East Region Top 100
The top of the rankings had one minor change as Virginia Beach (Va.) Bayside quarterback E.J. Manuel moved ahead of Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway defensive end Shayne Hale. The top two players remain unchanged as Jeannette, Pa. quarterback and Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peters Prep safety Will Hill continue to fight for the top spot.
New Brunswick, N.J. safety Brandon Smith climbed 18 spots up to the No. 12 spot in the East 100. Lynchburg (Va.) Liberty Christian offensive tackle Bobby Massie made a huge climb going from No. 67 to No. 18. His first evaluations were based primarily on his strong combine performances, but after seeing his film we felt he was one of the best in the nation at his position.
Schuykill Haven (Pa.) Blue Mountain offensive guard Matt Stankiewitch continues his climb upward in the rankings. The more you see him the more impressed you become. Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway running back/cornerback Cameron Saddler also continues to move up. Although he does not posses ideal size you can't help but notice him everywhere he is. He is always the best player on the field.
The East 100 had a small shake up with the addition of four-star defensive end Quinton Coples from Kinston, N.C., who has enrolled at Hargrave Military Academy. Thus, going from the Southeast 100 to the East 100.
